PhDGov Project – Reforming Doctoral Education
An Erasmus+ project led by AAUP with Palestinian and European partners to strengthen PhD programs through clear governance frameworks, modern curricula, supervision standards, and quality systems. It promotes university–industry collaboration, interdisciplinary research, and national policy reform, contributing to SDGs 4, 9, and 17.

SPEED Project – Supporting Project Engagement for Education and Development
An Erasmus+ CBHE initiative that strengthens innovation, entrepreneurship, and employability in the MENA region by bridging higher education with the labor market. Led by the University of Sfax with European and regional partners, it enhances university capacities, fosters academia–industry collaboration, and equips graduates with practical skills. Contributing to SDGs 4, 8, 9, and 17, SPEED drives quality education, decent work, innovation, and global partnerships.

CliVEx – Climate Virtual ExChange
An Erasmus+ Virtual Exchange (2023–2026) coordinated by UNIMED, fostering intercultural dialogue on climate change between Europe and the Southern Mediterranean. Through online courses on climate justice, it engages 1,500+ students, develops climate project ideas, trains facilitators, and evaluates sustainable digital learning. With partners from over 15 countries, including An-Najah University, CliVEx advances SDGs 4, 10, 13, and 17 by promoting quality education, reduced inequalities, climate action, and global partnerships.

Palestinian Institute for International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (IHL&HR)
Launched at An-Najah National University in December 2024 with EU support, the institute advances legal education and research in human rights and international law. It equips students and professionals with the skills to promote justice and empower civil society, contributing to SDGs 1, 4, 10, 16, and 17.

MoreThanAJob Project – Reinforcing Social and Solidarity Economy
A regional initiative in Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, Italy, and Greece that promotes social inclusion and poverty reduction by strengthening cooperation between social and solidarity economy (SSE) actors and public authorities. Through best-practice frameworks and pilot projects, it supports the unemployed, refugees, and uneducated in accessing jobs and education, fostering long-term impact and sustainable opportunities.

EPISODE Project – Digital Social Entrepreneurship from Palestine to the World
An Erasmus+ initiative (2023–2025) enhancing digital and social entrepreneurship in Palestine. Coordinated by UNIMED with partners including Birzeit, An-Najah, BuildPalestine, and ALL DIGITAL, the project equips educators, youth, and startups with future skills, blended learning courses, and open microlearning resources. Aligned with SDGs 4, 8, 9, and 17, EPISODE fosters innovation, employability, and cross-border collaboration for sustainable growth.

TESI – Technical Educational Support for Higher Education Students Initiative
Launched by An-Najah National University with UNIMED, TESI supports higher education in Gaza by addressing urgent challenges and sustaining learning opportunities amid damaged infrastructure.
